However, the author may use specialized thesauri in the discipline in which the article is presented.

Introduction: To write it, it is required to use the problem statement, the current situation (research problem(s), the theoretical background, and the justification, using the same structure as the abstract. It should be short and clear, state the reason for the work, clarify the problem, and present its current situation, referencing the most notable published works. Finally, define the objectives or state the hypothesis.

Materials and Methods: Adequately describe the type of research design, population and sample, procedures used, hypotheses, variables, data collection, analysis, among others, explaining how it was carried out, justifying the choice of method and techniques so that the study can be repeated. This section should present the description and sequence achieved in the research.

Results and Discussion (Tables or Figures): The results obtained should be presented logically and objectively, mentioning the relevant findings (including those contrary to the hypothesis), including sufficient details to justify the conclusions.

The most appropriate and clear presentation medium should be used; preferably text (in the past tense), tables, figures, or descriptions should be used without commentary. Statistical analyses should be consistent with the type of data collected, indicating the final values, the confidence interval, and the method used.

The same result should not be presented in both a table and a figure. Choose a single presentation format. This analysis should present self-explanatory tables and figures in sequence, allowing for a summary of the information. The accuracy of the information in the article, including figures, tables, and bibliographic citations, is the sole responsibility of the author(s).

Conclusions: They must be related to the objectives of the work and based on the results obtained. Avoid categorical conclusions or those unfounded by the data presented.

Acknowledgments: This section is optional, only if you wish to acknowledge the logistical support of a person who reviewed the writing, or the people who collected data in the field or provided material for identification, or the funding received. To institutions or organizations that supported or contributed to the submitted work. The use of titles should be avoided.

Bibliographic References

Índigo Panamá uses APA Style, Seventh Edition (APA 7th ed.) as its official bibliographic citation and referencing system. All contributions must strictly adhere to this style, both in the in-text citations and in the reference list at the end of the manuscript.

Text citations should indicate the author, year, and page number, for example: (Gómez, 2022, p. 45). The abbreviation "p. 45" should not be used.

References should be organized alphabetically by the first author's last name, with hanging indents, and strictly following APA format.

Incomplete citations, broken or undated links should be avoided, and the use of verifiable and up-to-date academic sources should be ensured.

Authors are encouraged to consult the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition, 2020) or visit the official APA Style website: https://apastyle.apa.org/
