Adoption of Codes of Ethics

The digital journal Índigo Panamá, strives for the originality and fidelity of each author. It is inspired by the Code of Ethics of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), addressed to editors, reviewers, and authors. Author Commitment
● The author is responsible for the content of the publication of his or her article.
● The author must guarantee that the knowledge production he or she will publish is his or her own.
● The author must guarantee that his or her article will not generate conflicts of interest due to the dissemination of his or her article, which would be detrimental to the interests of the journal.
● The author must not repeat the article in another journal.
● The author must provide correct citations and bibliographical references relevant to his or her work.

These points regarding the Code of Ethics are established through a signed and dated agreement between the editors and the author, to be respected and complied with. This rule only applies to a lack of originality if detected by evidence obtained from plagiarism detection software. Plagiarism Detection: According to the characteristics of accepted articles, they are thoroughly reviewed by the journal's review team and submitted to the software: iThenticate, a semantic analysis software, to ensure the originality of publications in the digital journal Índigo Panamá.
If plagiarism is detected, the author will not be able to publish in the digital scientific journal Índigo Panamá, for a period of seven years.
