The use of technology is fundamental at the university level, which is the reason why it has been deemed important to know how to use information and communication technologies in the teaching of English at the University of Panama. To this end, data from an investigation carried out in 2015 was used with the purpose of determining the degree teachers of the English School have applied ICT and its application in the classroom.
To this end, surveys were applied to teachers and students and a matrix was used to analyze the presence of ICT in analytical programs. According to the results, most of the teachers had training in some technological resources such as multimedia equipment and mobile devices, among others. However, few used them in the classroom. In addition, many of the analytical programs lacked ICT among their resources.
