Violence as a social phenomenon has reached a notable boom in the academic literature in recent years. In this scenario, a frequent look is oriented towards child violence, which although it recognizes the different manifestations of it, emphasizes physical abuse and its consequences for the physical and mental health of children, with limited views that integrate the spectrum of this type of violence from different disciplines and scenarios. The study that is presented seeks a conceptual approach to the complexity of child violence in the current scenario. Its development in the context of the research project "Visibility and prevention of violence for the development of a culture of peace" (SOLUNA Project), makes it possible to approach the criteria of different actors as a starting point for conceptual reflections on its manifestations and properties in the light of its cultural and structural nuances.
