Preliminary Editorial Assessment
All proposals are subject to a preliminary assessment by the Editorial Committee. This Committee reserves the right, in the first instance, to determine whether articles are in line with the journal's areas of interest and topics, evaluating their relevance and originality. Similarly, the Editorial Committee determines whether the articles received meet the essential requirements of a scientific article, as well as each and every one of the editorial guidelines. In addition, the preliminary decision also depends on the results of the similarity report from the anti-plagiarism program (Ithenticate by Turnitin). Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Articles identified with a plagiarism percentage greater than 21% will not be considered for the review process. The Editorial Committee will notify authors if their work is rejected without undergoing the peer review process detailed below.
Peer review process
The peer review process is double-blind, which means that the authors do not know the peer reviewers, nor do the peer reviewers know the authors of the papers. The journal guarantees the confidentiality of the final evaluation results for each document. The Editorial Committee will send a final evaluation report on the article to the email address provided by the author. The peer reviewers will have an evaluation tool provided by the Editorial Committee, with all the points that the author must comply with, as well as a maximum and minimum score, which approves or rejects the manuscript for publication. The external peer reviewers decide whether the work is publishable, publishable with suggestions and necessary corrections, or not publishable. The decision is final. If the manuscript is accepted, the author will be notified of the publication date. If it is rejected, the author will also be contacted so that they can make the necessary adjustments and continue to improve the document for future publication. We have peers from different international universities with solid academic training, experience in research, teaching, publication of scientific articles, and mastery of their respective areas of knowledge.
