It is universal knowledge that all theories of learning have as common denominator the concern to know how the student learns. From this point of view, all theories (traditional or modern) can take advantage of the inclusion of ICT, to improve the teaching-learning process and achieve the desired competences in the students. Situation is that will be better exploited if the educators have ICT competences that comply with the indicated standards. This paper highlights the theories that from the teaching professional experience, are considered more related to ICT, without ranking any of them within a specific structure or philosophical line. After an exploration and reflection of all these theories, we conclude that they are all derivations of the constructivist theory. All these theories agree that the student can build their learning autonomously or in collaboration and interaction with other people and this can be done through ICT and not depend solely on the educator in the classroom. Constructivism from the ICT optics is closely related to good ICT practices in the classroom.
