This paper includes, in a very general way, the beginnings and evolution of the Specialized Journal “Educational Reflection and Action”, published by Instituto Centroamericano de Administración y Supervisión de la Educación (Administration and Supervision of Education Institute, of the Universidad de Panama, since 1978, which represents for this Institute an important space for dissemination and disclosure of papers, research and educational innovations carried out by national and international authors of extensive experience in the field of education.
