Abstract

This study presents for the first time a list of the species of the Order Scolopendromorha from Panama, based on literature from the World Centipede Catalogue (CHILOBASE) and examined specimens present in the Museo de Invertebrados de la Universidad de Panamá. Three families, six genera and eleven species are listed. Scolopendra L. 1758 is the most diverse genus, with eight species. Maps showing geographic distribution are shown for family, genera and some species.
