A predation event on a lepidopteran pupa belonging to the family Noctuidae by the ant Paraponera clavata (Fabricius, 1775) is documented, observed on January 9, 2024, in the Mamoní Valley, Panama. The behavior was recorded through direct observation and photographic documentation, showing the capture, manipulation, and active transport of the prey by a single individual. This record contributes to the knowledge of the natural history of P. clavata and expands the available information on predator–prey interactions observed in tropical forest environments.
