Abstract

The relations between the class and gender condition has become a theme and a central problem in thought and the social sciences. How are they interrelated on a general historical plane? What variations does the specificity of historical-concrete situations introduce? In what sense and measure does it modify sexual inequality, the structuring of class relations under capitalism? And also, how does class condition affect the peculiar way in which women experience the discrimination to which they are subjected as a specific social category?
