Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic brought important changes to the different countries of the world, in relation to health, the economy, gender violence, among others. This deadly virus has left a large number of deaths, before this the authorities of the different countries have taken quarantine measures in order to minimize the attacks of the virus. Faced with this and, due to restrictions and confinement, the world economy came to a standstill, which brings with it a series of short and long-term consequences. The truth is that this virus affected everyone in the world, but not in the same way. Those who have suffered most closely and most crudely the onslaught of this pandemic have been especially the most vulnerable people, who are mostly made up of women and girls, because this reality impacts women differently. In the case of women, it has left consequences that affect, on the one hand, their participation as a subject in public space, as well as setbacks in terms of achievements and rights already achieved.
