This work is a review, description and analysis of various features of youth political culture, with special emphasis on Mexico City and today, and with some comparison with recent years. A presentation of their attitudes and their relationship with politics is made through an opinion survey, which is complemented and enriched with interviews. In particular, the topics discussed are political interest and knowledge; socio-political participation; the importance, respect and reasons for voting, and whether they exercise it. As a result, a characterization of current youth political culture is made, and some findings are highlighted, such as that there is no disinterest in politics, but there is greater abstentionism, less knowledge than other groups or in other times, and participation in non-institutional spaces, among other things.
