Abstract

This article is presented on the importance of linking students to scientific research, since universities must fulfill their mission based on three components: education, research and linkage with society. In this sense, the Research Center of the Faculty of Economics, in accordance with the postulates of Panamanian scientific policy and the role it plays in the student community in the approach of the socioeconomic research paradigm, strengthens the sources of information for research, through the student work of updating the Center's economic and financial databases as technical support and support for the development of research and scientific articles of the Faculty of Economics as part of the academic support strategy in educational training.
