Abstract

This article deals with the leading proposals of the educational reforms in Mexico, whose goal is to improve quality, within the framework of the policy agendas emanated from international agencies as of 1990s. It points out some continuities, ruptures, scope and limitations in the field of education, specifically during the past five administrations (30 years) in Mexico.
