This research is a contribution to the development of the knowledge on college students resilience of the Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala (UATx) and at the Universidad Autónoma of the State of Hidalgo (UAEH) in Mexico. The main purpose of this work is to give an account of the risks or adverse situations that make them vulnerable and the way of facing them. A comparative analysis of the protective factors that promote resilience was performed; in addition, it describes the most important characteristics of the population and identifies the elements that put at risk their permanence, and finally analyzes the resiliency factors prevailing in them. At the end it integrates a series of reflections in the framework of vocational training offered by universities, considering that the attention to the college student must be a present principle in any educational approach.
