Abstract

The University Social Responsibility (USR) assumes responsibility (coresponsibility) of “Collective Actions Impacts” caused by the university community, occurring in a territory in which a network of individuals and organizations already exists. The proposal of a USR policy for the Campus, involves efforts in the field of ethical Management and institutional quality of life, which allows the daily professional and ethical behavior of the university community, from the promotion, in the institutional routines, of socially responsible values, which includes the environmental Management. Under a qualitative and descriptive approach, this research seeks to identify planned or in development actions at the University of Panama, which enhance the global approach (sustainability) from the environmental (Sustainable Campus) and labor perspective; with a view to highlight these efforts and thus promote the establishment of guidelines to guide a USR policy for the axis of a Responsible Campus.
