This paper intends to show how the higher education teacher can find support in the 2.0 Web and in a learning management system (SGA) or Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Moodle along with its resources, activities and blogs to support their academic activity. In addition, this can be used in any educational modality, attending, blended, distant or virtual, integrating social networks, 2.0 Web and Moodle, to complete a personal learning environment. This can be useful in searching, delivering, receiving, and producing materials, interacting, communication and cooperation work in the construction of knowledge for the individual and group learning among course participants, just like in the functional management and administration of in- line courses in Moodle contributing to the teaching, tutoring, facilitator or mediator work. Emphasis is made in the knowledge of “Learning Styles” of the students for taking decisions in relation to learning strategies, means and materials.
As a conclusion, it is claimed that it is possible to integrate the tools of the 2.0 Web, social networking and Moodle in order to form a personal learning environment to accomplish meaningful knowledge in the students.
