Abstract

Nursing education impacts the need for evidence-based practices. In consequence, nursing students, faculty professors, and professionals participated in a three-day interactive conference to help them develop research skills. More than 85% of the participants evaluated each aspect of the conference above the average or as outstanding. Less than 2% of the participants evaluated the conference below the average for each of the five aspects presented. Participants of the interactive workshop evaluated it as outstanding (50%) or above the average (36%). Relevant aspects of the research content covered in the workshop was also satisfactorily evaluated. A conference-format approach is a feasible and valuable means to provide quantitative research knowledge to nursing students, professors, and professionals
