Abstract

Medical anthropology and its field of study, which is increasingly diversified and broad, allows us to address the issue of food and its variations, this time linked to the health crisis by covid-19. They will wonder why the issue of food in a medical context, in fact, a bad diet leads to diseases, hence the importance of seeing these changes from the anthropological perspective in the community of Jaqué, during the confinement from March to December 2020. This research project aims to address food variations in the wake of the pandemic. Identify if the result of this crisis the residents of the community of Jaqué have changed their eating habits or on the contrary if they have maintained. To approach the variations in the diet of the jaqueense due to the pandemic and as this has come to affect its health. To this end, we have set ourselves objectives that allow us to make this approach to the research process a better analysis, which is also comprehensive, with the question as its starting point: Are there any variations in the diet of ethnic groups in the Jaqué community as a result of the pandemic? all through a mixed methodology, using surveys and semi-structured interviews in data collection.
