The objective of this work is to know how the follow-up of graduates constitutes this link between universities and society. For this, 73 graduates of the Social Communication, Hospitality and Tourism careers of the Technical University of Babahoyo - Quevedo Extension were surveyed, who answered a structured questionnaire. The results show that 57 of them are women and 16 are men. 73% and 68% of the C.S and H&T careers come from the Province of Los Ríos. The average grade obtained is 46.81%, which qualify as satisfactory. As for the English speaking domain, 73% of both careers have a Medium level. 46% state that they are satisfied with the general skills acquired. Similarly, 97% say they are satisfied with the teaching staff and in relation to the services provided, 80% say they are very satisfied. 90% are not working, and of those who do, 57% are in a private company, with 42% doing work not related to their career. 69.86% say they are interested in pursuing master's degrees. 93.15% also indicated that the linking process meets their expectations; and 89.04% agree that pre-professional practices contribute to subsequent job placement. It is concluded that the follow-up studies for graduates is a fundamental tool to know firsthand the needs and requirements demanded by the labor market as a binding entity between society and the university.
