Abstract

Technology is transforming the way older adults manage their health, making it more accessible and personalized. Telemedicine allows older adults to access medical consultations from their homes, reducing the need for travel and facilitating the management of chronic illnesses. Monitoring devices, such as smartwatches and health monitors, can track vital signs, physical activity, and sleep patterns, providing valuable data for both users and their doctors. Additionally, numerous health applications are designed to help older adults manage their medication, remember medical appointments, and keep track of their health. Virtual assistants, such as Alexa and Google Assistant, can help older adults perform daily tasks, remind them to take their medications, and provide entertainment. Social media platforms and video call applications enable older adults to stay connected with family and friends, reducing social isolation and improving emotional well-being. Finally, there are exercise programs and applications specifically designed for older adults that promote physical activity and mental well-being.
