Abstract

Odontoma is a benign odontogenic tumor of unknown etiology, slow growth, formed by enamel, dentin, cement and pulp tissue. Radiographically it is observed as a radiopaque image, with defined edges not corticalized. This article will present, its characteristics, clinical, radiographic, differential diagnoses and treatments for said pathology of importance for knowledge within our training as dentists.
