The objective of this research project is to determine the average distance between the FA Point of the premolar and molar crowns to the Wala Ridge in a sample of Panamanian subjects with normocclusion and to compare them with the measurements obtained in similar studies. The study contemplated the design and construction of the measurement instrument for data collection in a sample of 64 subjects between 12 and 16 years of age belonging to 2 public schools in the city of David, Chiriquí province, Republic of Panama. The data collected and their analysis allow us to determine that the measurements found of 0.29 mm,
0.60 mm, 1.68 mm and 2.41 mm for the right section of the mandibular arch and of 0.29 mm,
0.74 mm, 1.79 mm and 2.47 mm for the left section of the arch mandibular faithfully represent the study population and do not coincide with any of the other groups with which they were compared.
