Communication and interdisciplinary approach between specialists require very meticulous management. We must not limit ourselves to a single specialty vision to achieve our goal. Relationships between specialist professionals and between doctor and patient must demonstrate a sensitivity that will include the willingness to communicate, the ability to listen, and mutual respect between the professionals. The complex nature of dentofacial problems requires a highly organized method of communication among team members so that all aspects of treatment can be expressed equally. It is through this communication that an interdisciplinary treatment plan can be formulated prior to generating a joint treatment letter. Usually, the interdisciplinary approach leads to an optimal qualitative, functional, and aesthetic management, providing the best treatment plan in complex clinical situations.
