Abstract

Summary

The purpose of the study is the analysis of the corporate social responsibility of the three-star hotel sector in the jurisdiction of Bella Vista. To this end, its analysis goals, which aim to balance three areas of sustainable development: economic, social, and environmental. Corporate Social Responsibility that combines social, environmental, and economic profitability for the sustainability of hotels and well-being for environmental and community components. The first is the opportunity of the second, giving rise to sustainability initiatives in the accommodation activity by establishing levels of responsibility and competitiveness. These theoretical criteria are applied to hotels, which web search engines. Hotels are classified according to stars, and it can be observed that they take heterogeneous considerations into account in their classification. Those who agreed to group together 12% of the three-star hotels that have similarities. Therefore, carried out descriptive and measurable analysis was performed. To conclude that in the hotel sector of the jurisdiction of Bella Vista, 67% of the three star hotels evaluated in this study respond to sustainable initiatives and 33% do not have a sustainable initiative. 100% have not yet achieved the first level of sustainable initiative. In the first months of 2023, the number of visitors increased by 73.2%. Total hotel occupancy overall is 58.9%, with the sector increasing its revenues to 28.5%. Favorable growth for serve groups interested in strengthening corporate social responsibility.
