This article addresses a historical analysis of the most important macroeconomic variables in Panama, such as the behavior of national production or real GDP, the unemployment rate, informal employment and public debt. Data corresponding to the years will be presented. 2015 to 2023, with special emphasis on the years 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, in order to demonstrate the phenomenon of economic recovery vs economic growth.
