The universities “Universidad de Panamá” and “Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí” join forces with the management and execution of the project FID16-010 financed by SENACYT (Science, Technology and Innovation National Secretariat) of the Republic of Panama. It is a super telephoto matrix and their respective cameras that are used for astronomical observations specialized in detecting low surface brightness celestial structures or objects with a wide field of view. This Innovative Integrated Refractive Optics System or in what has become known as SNORRI was conceived, planned and executed by the researchers Pablo and Daniel Weigandt in the Churuquita Chiquita Village of Coclé and it had generated a positive impact in the local and national community.
