This article aims to analyze and elucidate some research and work on the relationship that exists between Ethics, University and Development in times of pandemic. Ethics should be the foundation in the role of the University for the generation of knowledge, social responsibility and university extension in the context where the expansion of the Covid-19 pandemic has evidenced structural problems that were previously believed to be non-existent. In this sense, it is not only enough to state in the discourse what "ethically" is good without knowing and practicing what and how it is what should be done to build a better and just society based on the role that the University must assume in development of the society; It is there where we begin to raise the relative meaning of what is understood by ethics in order to seek better lights on the future of our existence in a pandemic situation that currently hits the deepest structures of the human being and of society.
