Abstract

This study was carried out in order to verify the effectiveness of ultraviolet light in the purification of water, the ECO Purifier TiO2 / UV ICE 15 was used and the results were oriented by the most probable method. In the end, this research project proved that the purification of water with ultraviolet light is effective, since it eliminates 99.9% of the total coliforms and 100% of the fecal coliforms present in the purified water.
