The following work has the purpose of providing information about the biological aspects of Lutjanus guttatus, Centropomus nigrescens, Sciades dowii, and Cynoscion spp. that are of main interest in artisanal fishing in the coastal area of the Bay Parita. Monthly tours were held from October 2016 to March 2017, which lasted for three days by month. Biometric measurement was made as total length (TL), total weight (TW) and gonads and Stomach were removed to access reproductive and food analysis. In the diet of the Cynoscion spp. were mostly found Clupeiformes, instead the L. guttatus, S. dowii and C. nigrescens mainly consume Decapoda. In the gonadal stages of the Cynoscion spp. and C. nigrescens the phase mature predominated, in the L. guttatus predominated the phase at rest and S. dowii the phase II-VI. This study updated the existing information about the biological aspects of L. guttatus, C. nigrescens, S. dowii and Cynoscion spp., which allows the decision makes to implement measure for the appropriate management of the fishery resources.
