The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of the social service activities carried out by the students of the Regional University Center of Colón CRUC in the Ciricito Village, Lake Region, Province of Colón. To this end, 15 final reports of Social Service were compiled from 6 CRUC faculties between 2014 and 2015 and 5 key informants from the village were interviewed. The coherence, relevance and feasibility between the stated objectives and the degree of satisfaction of the focus groups were compared and determined. The social service was developed in nine communities of the Ciricito Village: La Cauchera, La Humildad, El Chorrillo, El Porvenir, El Muelle, Caña brava, Ciri Grande, Quebradon and La Encantada. The social service activities focused on the following actions: Academic sponsors, experiential communication, entrepreneurial women, the use of computer tools and music therapy. As a result of the analysis of the social service reports, the formation of a Committee of Women Entrepreneurs linked to the Authority of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (AMPYME) for the acquisition of seed capital for the development of business ideas was reported. The academic performance in the subjects of mathematics and Spanish by the children and young people who participated in the different workshops of reinforcement, it was linked to local authorities of the village with the projects of social service presented by the CRUC and obtained more than 96% Of satisfaction by members of the communities in relation to the achievements.
