This study includes a total amount of 1,764 students that belong to XI and XII levels from Urraca Institute (high school). A questionnaire was applied to 310 students.  The analysis of the results indicates that the library does not have programs for the promotion of reading, 71.6% of the students have the habit of reading and more than 90% would participate in programs of this type. Also the orientation for research is very scarce in the library. The group will prepare a proposal for the school library of the Urraca Institute.
