This study synthesizes Olga Delgado's (2017) master's thesis, City in Acrylic, which explores how urban images and environments influence people's daily lives. It examines the moments and origins of the emergence of the urban landscape in the lives of visual artists, as well as its impact over time. The results of this study demonstrate a shift in narrative and poetic expression, acting as an instrument of evolution from idealism to constructivism. Through a descriptive and experimental methodology, the research addresses the diverse possibilities present in the environment, which modify and affect the individual's perception of both the informational language and the surrounding landscape. It concludes with a reflection on how the urban landscape has impacted artists, and how the lack of mobility due to limited space has affected society, as discussed by Delgado (2017).
