Abstract

Governance is the art of good governance, in this sense, environmental governance is a requirement of the communities and peoples interested in an environment that respects the participation and free and informed access of the communities. The pandemic / syndemic is presented as a challenge that violates the rights of people, however, it is no longer a consequence of a voracious consumption model that does not stop, and at the rate that humanity is leading, other pandemics will come. Panama does not escape this reality, however, on conservation issues it has regressed in recent years, deforestation and low awareness will take their toll on us sooner rather than later with new pandemics and new crises.
