Abstract

Overweight is gaining ground in the world and with acceleration negligible. Specifically, in the last three decades, the number of people affected by overweight and obesity has increased from 857 million for 1980 to 2100 million for 2013. More than doubled.
So reveals a World Health Organization study that analyzes incidence figures in a total of 188 countries.
In Panama, obesity has identified as a cause of many diseases. Colon province is not immune to this problem, recent reports show that there is a high rate of obesity and undernourishment, causing diseases caused by poor diet, influenced by the type of food served in restaurants and inns that are in the region.
A few healthy options, forcing people, for business or other necessity, have to eat regularly away from home and consume products that do not meet the requirements of good nutrition; thus causing obesity and getting into long term illnesses. This is the main reason for this project idea, besides being a lucrative business, contribute to improving the quality of life in Colon.
