Abstract

One of the shortcomings that exist in Peruvian companies or organizations is the excellent management of their resources, which can be improved through efficient inventory control since, with this, it is possible to properly manage the assets that exist in the organization for the provision of the service and the improvement of its profitability. For this reason, this work aims to evaluate and establish the influence of inventory control on the profitability of a clinic pharmacy to strengthen the processes involved in inventory control from warehouse management until the final phase of product delivery. A quantitative study of a non-experimental design and a correlational type has been proposed. For the data collection, researchers administered two questionnaires under the survey technique to a sample of 11 workers from the pharmacy of the Adventista Ana Stahl clinic in Iquitos, Peru. One questionnaire was to measure the inventory control variable and another for the profitability variable. After analyzing the information collected, the results show that inventory control has a highly significant relationship with profitability in a clinic pharmacy, considering that the correlation of Rho = 0.956; Sig. = 0.00 <0.05, so the null hypothesis was rejected.
