The world has suffered the ravages of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the impact on the economy of all countries has been severe and food businesses have also faced these challenges. The rise of technology and the globalization of certain services enhanced diverse market strategies in cities such as Babahoyo in Ecuador, where large companies such as Uber Eats are not yet installed leaving opportunities for small entrepreneurs to develop their own commercial initiatives with strategies focused on the market segment. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of implementing a home delivery service for fast food service, including hamburgers, sandwiches, quipes and barbecue chicken wings. The results obtained demonstrate the opportunities for implementing a home food delivery service and strategies that can be implemented after the COVID-19 pandemic.
