This article assesses theoretical aspects of significant importance for the development of human talent management and its impact of strategies, tools and personnel management models that are consistent with the university institutional reality. As an epistemic study, it defines that this management is based on a set of integrated processes designed to recruit, select, guide, reward, develop, audit, and monitor human talent. Current theoretical contents from magazines and specialized spaces, scientific papers and research reports from master's and doctoral degrees were analyzed as part of this analysis. The importance of teamwork is examined, how human talent management influences the growth and results of the organization, its processes, and the correct application of the responsibility of the administrative manager. It is concluded that it is essential that a Department of Human Talent be established in the University Institutions, and responsible for managing all the operations related to personnel, contribute to their objectives, improve productivity, and performance.
