However, there is a field of exploration oriented to identify, describe, and evaluate intrapreneurship within organizations providing services such as health care, whether in the public or private. This article aims to specify the concept of intrapreneurship and discuss its relevance and possibilities in health care. The critical review identifies key factors in the promotion of intrapreneurship, such as identification with the organization, encouragement of personal dispositions, and the exercise of stimulating managerial leadership.
