Abstract

This article explained the mediated authorship in Panamanian criminal law. The Criminal Code of Panama was analyzed from the exegetical method of legal hermeneutics, then the main Panamanian authors on Criminal Law were analyzed. It was also explained why there is no mediated responsibility in wrongful crime, own-initiative crimes and special crimes. For this, revision techniques of Panamanian bibliographic sources and national normative sources were used. In it, it was concluded, among others, that, in Panama, a person who commits a crime through another is a mediator, who is often not aware of the punishable act, and if it is, then it cannot be self-determine based on that understanding.
