In the following work, the importance of digital profitability and competitiveness will be presented as an essential factor for the development of companies in the short and long term. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the impact of profitability and competitiveness as key components of success in Latin American business organizations and their survival in a changing market, 2020. It seeks to specify the importance of these two variables and their influence on the search of business success in an emergency situation. It was determined which factors allow profitability and competitiveness for the development of a business organization, as well as to demonstrate the impact that these elements can generate in business organizations and how they directly influence their success. For this development we rely on an inductive and observational analytical methodology through the bibliographic search of texts that help to validate the research. In this investigation the methods and materials that were used are: literary resources such as scientific articles, theses, magazines, blogs among other documents and websites that add value to the investigation and that are of great help for the collection of relevant information as well as secondary information which shows an exploratory level and a qualitative analysis. The results obtained in this investigation show us that shocking data for the conclusion of this article, such as 19% of companies in the studied region were affected and considered closing, in addition to 8.1% of total formal employment in the business sector. (this represents 8.5 million jobs). At the end of this investigation we can observe how these study factors: profitability and competitiveness; They have played a very important role in the success of a company, allowing us to observe the importance that a company must have to these factors in order to grow and survive mainly. In addition, we also found that these factors are directly linked to the mission and vision of the company.
