The COVID-19 event, unprecedented worldwide, has had an impact on people's lives. The pandemic generated important changes in all sectors, health, coexistence in society and education among others. Shortly after, education began to revive itself and in this process, the virtual modality took vital relevance as an alternative to give continuity to the teaching-learning process. Thus, students had the opportunity to take the admission tests to enter the University of Panama virtually. In this study, the statistical analysis reveals that the performance in the PCA and PCG tests to enter the Centro Regional Universitario Azuero (CRUA) were different between the years 2020 and 2021. That is, the results in the tests taken in 2020 (virtually) to enter in 2021 were better compared to those taken in 2019 (in person) to enter in 2020.
