Abstract

Currently, the confluence of three spheres of technological application such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things allows us to hyper-connect, algorithmic and datafied the different areas

of human activity to optimize their productive, communicative processes, to develop their efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability. At the same time, the success in sectors such as industry, education, politics and healthcare has led us to think that there is an idea of being able to better discern what is right and good through the analysis and algorithmic processing of massive data on morality based on the behavior of hyper-connected individuals. However, this datafied approach to ethics leads to some dilemmas regarding its factuality, probability and operability. It even leads to concerns about the uncritical passivity of the anomalies that occur in the world of social life, mainly with the accuracy and permanence of moral knowledge. This research aims to present some challenges, limits and consequences brought about by datafication and the digital transformation of the moral. Finally, possible philosophical arguments around Ethics, Culture, intersubjectivity and technological innovation are put forward as a proposal to achieve a more social and human reflection in relation to the field of morality  and the digital society.
