Abstract

This article emerges from the progress of a doctoral thesis and aims to evaluate the internal reliability of two psychometric questionnaires aimed at measuring levels of active learning based on interaction with a robotic prototype in secondary education students, by calculating Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, using an Excel systematized. Based on theories of internal consistency analysis with Cronbach's Alpha (Posso and Bertheau, 2020; Paye and Mejía, 2022); and active learning, Hartikainen (2019); the study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. In a pilot test with 10 students, reliability values ??of 0.582 (poor) were obtained for the active learning questionnaire, and 0.948 (high) for the robotic prototype. Through analysis in support software, elements with negative and low correlations were detected and eliminated, which improved the internal consistency of the questionnaire, reaching an Alpha of 0.826 considered good. Strategies for evaluating and improving the internal consistency of a questionnaire were discussed, thus providing the academic community with valuable guidance for future research.
