The article explores the transformative impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on higher education. ICT is revolutionizing pedagogy, fostering more active and personalized learning through adaptive platforms and active methodologies like the flipped classroom. In academic management, learning management systems and artificial intelligence optimize processes and enable data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, ICT creates immersive learning experiences through virtual reality, augmented reality, and gamification. In research, it facilitates data collection and analysis, global collaboration, and open access to knowledge. In assessment, it allows for more authentic and contextualized methods. ICT also drives internationalization, facilitating global collaborations and virtual exchange programs, and inclusion, providing tools for students with disabilities.
