Abstract

This article contains a review and qualitative conceptual analysis of various institutional scientific publications from ECLAC, Redalyc, SEICA, IDB, among other authors, which provide epistemological explanations in relation to the way of understanding the dynamics of trade in a globalized world, whose activities Economic conditions make organizations become essential actors in social life.

The current dynamics of the economy and global trade make it essential to analyze the characteristics of the products and services that the Central American Isthmus exports and imports and the impact of mega trends on business culture, making society, politics and the economy enter in a dynamic of understanding the present and even more, being able to predict the future.  In that sense, the research carried out on the characteristics of the products and services that the Central American Isthmus exports and imports and its participation in trade from a Globalization and International Trade approach, allows us to visualize the present-future, given the trade opening policy. and the international insertion of companies in the trade of goods and services, allowing them to expand their production beyond their borders, generating an increase in trade and investments, and in the well-being of consumers.   Scenario that makes it easier to redefine the direction of trade for Central America, which has historically based its economic model on exports, and thus be able to adapt to an increasingly complex and dynamic context, whose process of change must be framed towards the achievement of social well-being and sustainable economic development in a globalized world.
