Abstract

The present project arises from the need to cover a deficiency in the logic of problem solving of the students who enter the Technical University of Babahoyo, as well as the low choice of technological careers by the female sex, which is linked to violence. digital and disinformation, so the objective of this project is to influence society in order to turn it into a knowledge-producing generation that solves problems in its environment and has creative thinking through practical programming and electronics workshops run by students. and teachers from the Technical University of Babahoyo of the Systems Engineering and Information Systems careers in collaboration with Plan International, with a qualitative inductive methodology, developing different workshops with the use of free software and hardware, as well as programming tools such as: Scratch, Python, Arduino, Lego for Education V3. Finally, it was possible for the beneficiaries to build basic circuits with modules and Arduino development cards, applying the fundamentals of computer science with block and structured programming using Lego for Education V3 kits and also to present technological solutions to problems in their environment.
