In Panama, Parkinson's disease is estimated to be suffered by 3 to 5% of the population, giving a total of 30 to 40 thousand Panamanians affected by this disease. Parkinson's disease differs from Alzheimer's disease in that it occurs in the deeper areas of the brain and Alzheimer's disease occurs in the more superficial regions. This research aims to assess the effect of pulsed transcranial stimulation on the clinical characteristics of Parkinson's disease.
