This article is divided into five parts that help us understand The Context of Mariachi. The first is Panorama where a certain very broad trajectory of Mariachi is shown. The second, Concepts and instruments, where the importance of the region is highlighted, the musical genre is from Mexico and Mariachi, and of course, without leaving aside the shared musical instruments, as well as those that gave rise to it. The third, Places where the word Mariachi has been found, is taken into account from the most recent date to the most distant. The fourth, The origin of the word Mariachi is still the subject of discussion, it can be seen how there are places that claim the autochthony of the group. Finally, the fifth, Reflections and suggestions, focuses on issuing aspects that help to know more precisely this culture that is usually better known in its modern format.
