Shoulder pain is one of the most common issues seen in medical practice; it is the third leading cause of musculoskeletal pain, affecting activities of daily living, including sleep. It is estimated that 40% of people have it at some time in their lives. The prevalence increases with age and with some professions or sports activities. The rotator cuff tendons are crucial for healthy shoulder functions. They are susceptible to tendinitis, tears, ruptures, or degeneration due to shoulder use, overexertion, or trauma. Therefore, it is necessary to seek therapies that contribute to treatment and early recovery. Objective: to document the importance of treatment with electro-acupuncture, magnetotherapy, and platelet-rich plasma in patients with shoulder tendinitis.
